| Length: We call primitive length of a trapezoidal belt to the length measured in correspondence with its primitive diameter. The primitive diameter is that in which the speed of the belt and the speed of the striated pulley are theoretically equal. The nominal primitive length of the belts is obtained from the table "nominal primitive length of the belts. In order to obtain the external nominal length, the nominal primitive length must be added to the x value; and to obtain the internal nominal length, the value x1 must be subtracted to the nominal primitive length. External development= nominal primitive length + x value |
